Assistant Director / Senior Assistant Director (Business Strategist), DTID

The role of the A*STAR Digital Transformation and Innovation Office is to drive digital transformation and orchestrate business process re-engineering (BPR) across the multitude of corporate services with the aim to streamline business processes and optimise organisation performance.

You will be part of the transformation team to contribute to the development of the digital transformation roadmap and designing the digital architecture to drive A*STAR towards a digital enabled and data-driven organisation. In particular, you will work closely with corporate service partners, streamline their business processes, develop new business logics and adopt digital technology to enhance corporate efficiency and performance. You will also have the opportunity to co-create innovation projects and programmes with stakeholders to raise the innovation quotient of A*STAR.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience in strategy consulting, business process re-engineering and project management
• Ability to take a strategic view of the larger digital transformation roadmap and short/medium term annual workplans, and drill deep to business needs and challenges
• Able to work in a team from diverse background to analyse and identify business process challenges, and formulate recommendations for process change
• Experience in collating and analysing information/data as well as draw insights and conclusions from feedback, process discussions and research materials
• Able to translate BPR requirements to technological requirements and propose digital solutions to achieve the desired process outcomes
• Able to drive the documentation of new business processes and lead digital projects that are cross-functional
• Ability to operate independently, demonstrate creativity and outcome driven
• Strong interpersonal skills and able to work with diverse range of corporate service partners
