As a Assistant Director, People Development, you will be responsible for the following duties:
Collaborate with the Director to co-develop the overarching L&D strategies and frameworks for the organization.
Responsible for operationalizing these strategies, ensuring they align with the organization’s mission and goals.
Work closely with the HR team and other stakeholders to identify and build partnerships with academic institutions, training providers, and learning platforms, leveraging current trends in andragogy (adult learning principles) and incorporating them into the organization's program.
Collaborate with various departments to design and develop capability development programs, ensuring the curricula are up-to-date, relevant, and designed to meet the needs of employees at different levels of the organization.
Manage the learning and development budget, ensuring funds are allocated efficiently to support the L&D strategies. Regularly track and monitor budget utilization, ensuring that spending aligns with strategic priorities.
Partner with external vendors and learning partners to develop and deliver learning content, utilizing learning platforms and ensuring the content is rooted in the latest educational methodologies and technology.
Develop strategies for assessing the effectiveness of L&D programs, tracking metrics such as participation rates, employee satisfaction, and return on investment (ROI) to ensure programs are delivering value to the organization.
Support the monitoring and tracking of key deliverables from the People Development team, ensuring progress on various initiatives and alignment with broader organizational objectives.
Requirements:
Degree holder.
At least 10 years of relevant experience.
Expertise in curriculum design and training capability development.
