Summary:

Responsibilities:

The Assistant Director leads the implementation and adoption of technology-enabled care transformation. Reporting to the Director, the role involves providing strategic leadership, aligning departmental initiatives with hospital goals, and building capabilities to achieve the department's objectives.

  • Lead the development and implementation of strategic initiatives to transform healthcare delivery through innovative technologies.
  • Collaborate with the Clinical Director and stakeholders to ensure departmental objectives align.
  • Oversee the integration of clinical research and innovation into practice, emphasizing pragmatic and hybrid effectiveness-implementation trials.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to strengthen health system capabilities for implementing technology-enabled care models.
  • Drive cross-department and external partner collaboration to support the successful adoption of innovative care models.
  • Lead the planning, execution, and evaluation of projects related to healthcare redesign, ensuring that they are completed on time and within budget.
  • Manage cross-functional teams, ensuring clear communication and coordination across all project phases.
  • Develop and implement methods for monitoring and evaluating the effectiveness of care transformation initiatives.
  • Develop strategies to leverage clinical and administrative data for generating real-world evidence that informs practices, policies, and research.
  • Lead knowledge translation efforts to ensure data insights effectively influence clinical decision-making and policy development.
  • Design and manage programs for staff education and capacity-building to enhance engagement with and implementation of new technologies.
  • Mentor and guide team members, promoting a culture of continuous learning and fostering innovation.

Requirements:

  • Preferred Master's or Ph.D. in Healthcare Management, Public Health, Health Services Research, or a related field.
  • Min. 15 years of experience in healthcare administration, research, or related fields with a focus on system performance and innovation.
  • Demonstrated success in leading cross-functional teams and managing large-scale healthcare projects.
  • Skilled in developing health system performance strategies and translating research into actionable practices.
  • Excellent communication skills with proven ability to engage stakeholders at all levels effectively.
