We are looking for an Assistant Director/Director of Human Resources who will be responsible for providing guidance and support for the accomplishment of goals and objectives by recruiting, developing, motivating and maintaining a competent work force for JEN Singapore Tanglin by Shangri-La.
As an Assistant Director/Director of Human Resources, We Rely On You To
Provide a full spectrum of professional human resources services including compensation and benefits, recruitment & selection, performance management, staff movement and relations
Support HR Leadership and the COEs on the execution of HR programs, policies and initiatives as required
Formulate and execute HR policies in alignment with the corporate governance and departmental KPIs and ensure the policies and practices are strictly in place and delivered
Collaborates with the business to oversee the annual budget and headcount management process, including coordination and reporting
Provides coaching on people-related matters, including employment issues and workplace safety, to ensure a clear understanding of workforce management principles and employment-related regulations
Cultivate a highly engaging culture by motivating employees and fostering an environment of teamwork, accountability, clear communication, and shared vision
Develop and implement hotel-wide strategies that deliver products and services to meet or exceed the needs and expectations of the brand’s target customer and property associates
Undertake any other duties and special projects as assigned by supervisor
We Are Looking For Someone Who:
Holds a degree in Human Resources Management or a related field
Has a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience, preferably in the hospitality industry, with at least 5 years in a managerial role
Possesses good knowledge of local labor laws and industrial relations
Can build and maintain effective relationships with key internal and external stakeholders
Demonstrates excellent coaching, listening, and communication skills, with the ability to engage with individuals at all levels
Is a proactive self-starter who can problem-solve, identify opportunities for improvement, and drive initiatives forward
