About the role
You develop, operationalise and manage cyber sensors in support of cybersecurity operations. You also research for innovative and emerging technologies and algorithms that will provide more accurate, timely, and actionable detection of cyber threats.

What you will be working on

  1. Lead the development, procurement, and implementation of cyber sensor solutions that can be used to enhance operations.
  2. Staff approval papers and manage related finance processes.
  3. Provide regular updates on the development, operationalisation, and maintenance of cyber sensors to relevant stakeholders.
  4. Maintain intimate knowledge of current sensor technologies, tools, and techniques.

Challenge(s)

  1. Thinking out-of-the-box, improvising, as well as adapting tools and techniques in order to develop comprehensive operational plans with stakeholders.
  2. Ensuring compliance and timely delivery of cyber sensor-related goods and services.

What we are looking for

  1. Education in Information Security, Computer Science, or Electrical/Electronic/Computer Engineering-related fields.
  2. At least 6 years of work experience in cybersecurity and/or defence-related fields.
  3. Leadership abilities.
  4. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  5. Highly motivated and fast learner.
  6. Strong team player mindset.
