Job description

You will be part of the finance team to drive transformation and enhance digitalisation of SFA’s functions and processes. Other roles include implementing finance policy and process reviews, and managing the full spectrum of financial operations and reporting to enable management in making informed decisions.

Duties

  • Involve in the development (including gathering of requirement specifications), migration, and enhancement of new SFA application systems, and liaising with users and external vendors for smooth interface with financial system (Workday).
  • Involve in Accounts Receivables and Revenue collection functions and operations.
  • Involve in change requests and service requests to SFA’s application systems and financial system (Workday) for ongoing improvements.
  • Participate in financial reporting activities, including preparation of periodic management reports, audit/financial schedules, and reconciliations.
  • Participate in the development, implementation, and review of finance policies & processes, as well as analytics roadmaps to facilitate strategic and decision-making.
  • Be a business partner and engage Divisions to consider various financial planning and operational factors in their operational functions.
  • Proactively identify opportunities to leverage Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Data Analytics for finance transformation and digitalisation for the organisation, and be involved in the implementation of the initiatives.
  • Any other duties and ad-hoc projects.

Requirements

  • A degree in Accountancy or equivalent.
  • Preferably 5 years of working experience.
  • Strong critical thinking, analytical, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Good interpersonal skills with the ability to articulate clearly both written and verbal; either in one-to-one or group presentations.
  • Meticulous and able to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft software such as Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.
  • Prior experience in system implementation and project management is an advantage.
  • Knowledge in Workday, visualization, and automation software is an advantage.
  • Proficiency in data analytics and prior experience in the use of automation tools such as RPA and AI chatbots will be an advantage.
  • A good team player and able to work independently.
