Assistant Cost Manager

Responsibilities:

1. Prepare and evaluate estimates and cost plans
2. Prepare standard documentation – reports, valuations, letters, financial reports
3. Prepare and evaluate tender documents as required
4. Analyze tenders and prepare tender reports at all stages of procurement
5. Prepare valuations and cost reports; re-measure as necessary and adjust variations
6. Assist in the settlement of construction disputes/loss and expense claims
7. Prepare and agree final accounts

Requirements:

1. Degree in Quantity Surveying or its equivalent, better with recognised Degree(s) by the Singapore Building and Construction Authority.
2. 1-3 years’ experience in cost management as consultant or client representative
3. Experience working in hospitality or office fit-out projects
4. Experience in quantity surveying & cost management services for both pre-contract and post contract stages
5. Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
6. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
7. Ability to adapt to fast track projects.
