Collect daily job notifications from the Board’s officers at the start of each work day.
Carry out site survey at customer’s premises in advance of actual meter fixing/removal/replacement works to assess site conditions (for example, no obstruction to meters, valves on water mains are as per plans).
Supervise contractor’s work during site surveys before meter fixing/removal/replacement jobs.
Check and record initial readings on new meters and final readings on old meters, including photographic records.
Take records of works in progress/completed, ensuring work procedures and safety measures are carried out as specified, reporting any incidents promptly, maintaining close contact with PUB officers, managing and tracking the movement of meters including related fittings, and supervising metering works as directed and in accordance with daily check sheets.
Conduct site visits to check on meter conditions, interview customers to establish facts, and take additional meter readings on site for analysis.
