Assistant Cinema Manager
Job Description
Assist Manager, Cinema Operations to lead the cinema management team
Providing guidance, coaching and mentoring to the cinema management teams
Ensuring overall smooth and efficient day-to-day operations, planning and administration of all cinemas, including compliance with operational procedures and standards
Ensuring cinemas are operating under valid licenses such as entertainment license, building licenses and in compliance with all statutory requirements.
Liaising with external parties such as mall management, police and other government and statutory bodies to ensure smooth, safe and secure operations
Concentrate on keeping operating cost in control, maximizing profits whenever possible, prevention and reduction of unnecessary expenditures or wastage
Maintaining an overall view and close supervision on the performance of the cinemas
Proactively implement initiatives to counter against undesirable situations and developments e.g. increasing staff turnover rate, inadequate skill and training of teamwork, customer complaints.
Identify and develop staff with potential for career progression
Participate in staff motivation and retention exercise
Overseeing and handling all staff discipline issues and cases of the locations
Job Requirements
Degree holder, with strong operations experience in cinema, F&B, hospitality or retail industry
Possesses the drive and commitment to achieve Company’s objectives
Effective writing and communication skill
Innovative in problem solving
Objective and rational thinker in introducing and executing new and improved procedures
Generous in sharing knowledge with staff and committed in encouraging team members to deliver quality work and service
Facilitate and raise the level of employee engagement at all locations
Able to perform rotating shifts on flexible working hours
Preferably with a valid food hygiene certificate
Must be fully vaccinated

Cinema Executive
Job Description
Understanding and able to operate all workstations, including Digital Box Office, Combi point, Floor and Projection
Ensuring the security of cinema and equipment at the end of the shift
Opening/closing of cinema including cash handling and opening & closing procedures
Ensuring the readiness and proper presentation of all areas of the location or within the complex during operating hours
Ensuring that staff adopt proper procedures in projection, concession, floor or ticket sales duties
Maintaining work discipline and report any staff misconduct to superior, to report/feedback to Manager for any course of action
Conducting training and coaching of Cinema Service Crew
Assisting in handling customer complaint
Assisting in group booking and sale of vouchers
Familiar with breakdown/emergency procedures
Undertake special assignment and project as required
Personal Attributes
Candidate must possess at least a Professional Certificate/NiTEC, Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate in Diploma, any field
Service-oriented, hardworking and willingness to learn
Ability and maturity to communicate and interact with all levels of personnel within and outside the organisation
Able to perform rotating shifts on flexible working hours
Those with F&B experience will be favourably considered
