Assistant Buyer

As an Assistant Buyer, you are responsible for raising purchase orders and maintaining procurement records.

This role also assists in the sourcing of products and overall contractor selection process.

Source and work closely with Buyer, suppliers on product selection, pricing and negotiations.

Process and follow up on purchase orders, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of stock.

Manage inventory levels and supplier performance.

Analyze sales data and assist Buyer with proposed buying strategies.

Perform quality assurance checks on products.

Keep abreast of market trends and anticipate future trends.

Requirement

Minimum Diploma in Supply Chain Management.

At least 2 years of relevant experience, preferably in jewellery or luxury/fashion industry.

Strong analytical and negotiating skills.

A strong interest in fashion.

A team player with excellent communication skills.

Monday to Friday 8:30am to 6:00pm.
