About the job

Based at the Mandarin Oriental, Singapore within the Finance Department, the Assistant Accounting Manager – Income Audit is responsible for managing the hotel Income Audit operations. The Assistant Accounting Manager – Income Audit reports to the Assistant Director of Finance.

As Assistant Accounting Manager - Income Audit, you will be responsible for the following duties:

  • Managing the hotel Income Audit operations.
  • Preparing financial revenue reporting.
  • Performing all revenue internal control auditing.
  • Preparing revenue financial analysis.
  • Performing balance sheet reconciliation.
  • Managing accounting and internal control procedures.
  • Having a good understanding of internal controls in the hospitality industry.
  • Liaising with auditors, bankers and tax agents in relation to statutory audit and tax reporting and compliance.
  • Cross-functional duties but not limited to Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable sections.

As Assistant Accounting Manager - Income Audit, we expect from you:

  • Minimum GCE ‘O’ level formal education or equivalent certification.
  • ACCA or recognized accounting qualifications preferred.
  • Relevant accounting experience in the hospitality industry with at least 2 years managerial and accounts payable supervisory experience preferred.
  • Familiarity with hotel PMS, POS, Sun Accounting System and Hyperion System will be an added advantage.
