Asia Pacific - Finance Analyst

This is a 1 year fixed-term contract with a 1 month completion bonus upon the end of the contract.

MAIN PURPOSE

The Finance Analyst will support and assist the FP&A team to build and improve reporting and data transformation tasks as part of the project to automate and build data readiness to support decisions, create analysis & insights. The analyst will also assist in data and business validation in the Brand Planning and Sales Automation project including roll-out to markets in the Region, acting as an ambassador to promote adoption and training/knowledge transfer to the markets.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Data Transformation

1. Support work on Sales data transformation, preparation and standardisation
2. Setup Power Query to prepare monthly Data files in specific formats
3. Support data testing and validate accuracy and completeness of data
4. Study and reconcile data with markets in the region to ensure consistency of reporting parameter
5. Assist to setup and integrate use of relevant data points to support business processes

1. Maintain and modify VBA codes in Excel according to user requirements
2. Modify and monitor data integrity of PowerBI reports & visualizations
3. Create and build new visualization & storyboard using PowerBI to provide added insights
4. Provide training and assistance to market users to promote adoption of PowerBi in the region

1. Build financial reports and templates using Analysis for Office to support deep dive analysis
2. Work with markets to standardize masterdata to enable reporting and analysis on profitability by Channel, Customer and product margin.
3. Assist to promote use of AFO for finance community in the region
4. Participate in ad-hoc assignments and projects

1. Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Business with specialisation in Data Analytics
2. Fresh graduates are welcomed to apply
3. Hands-on experience working with large volume of data, including ETL is preferred
4. Advance skills in Microsoft Excel and PowerBI is a must
5. Possess knowledge of at least one programming language, e.g. Python, SQL or VBA for Excel
6. Fast learner, proactive and resourceful individual
