Oversee the end-to-end payroll process for multiple regions, ensuring timely and accurate payroll processing for all employees.
Ensure compliance with local payroll laws and regulations, including tax withholding, wage and hour laws, and reporting requirements.
Lead and mentor a team of payroll specialists, providing training and support to enhance their skills and performance.
Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy in payroll operations.
Generate and analyze payroll reports, including labor costs, payroll tax liabilities, and other key metrics to inform management decisions.
Work closely with HR, finance, and other departments to ensure seamless integration of payroll with employee records and benefits administration.
Oversee payroll systems and software, ensuring they are updated and functioning correctly; participate in system upgrades and enhancements.
Address payroll-related inquiries from employees and provide exceptional customer service to resolve issues promptly.
Requirements:
Bachelor in Finance, Accounting, Human Resources, or related field with a minimum of 5 years of payroll management experience, with at least 2 years in a regional capacity.
Strong understanding of payroll laws, regulations, and best practices; experience with payroll software and technology.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills; strong leadership and team management abilities.
Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy; proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel; excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Experience with HRIS systems and integration with payroll software.
Must have knowledge of international payroll regulations (ASEAN region).
Ability to lead change management processes.
