Position Summary

As an Artificial Intelligence Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our products, focusing on ARM and x86-based architectures. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the development of state-of-the-art Embedded and Computer boards that push the boundaries of technology. You will contribute directly to defining and realising cutting-edge solutions that are central to our product portfolio, all within a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop AI models on various embedded and other hardware platforms to meet project requirements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, define objectives, and deploy models into production environments.
• Evaluate, optimise and fine-tune the performance of machine learning models to ensure maximum efficiency and minimal latency.
• Collaborate with software engineers to deploy machine learning models into production environments.
• Develop and implement APIs and/or integrate AI models with existing system.
• Monitor model performance and address any issues or anomalies that arise. Continuously improve models by refining algorithms, optimizing code, and incorporating feedback from users and stakeholders.
• Perform data analysis, generate insights, and present findings to stakeholders. Use statistical methods and visualisation techniques to communicate complex concepts and patterns effectively.

Qualifications

• Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Software Development or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience working in a similar role with actual hands-on experience in designing, developing, and deploying machine learning models in real-world applications.
• Experience with machine learning frameworks and libraries like TensorFlow/TF Lite, Keras, PyTorch etc for computer vision tasks such as object detection, classification, and tracking
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, C++, CUDA and R with knowledge in deep learning frameworks like PyTorch or TensorFlow.
• Familiarity with edge computing platforms and hardware accelerators (e.g., NVIDIA Jetson, Google Coral, ARM Cortex), with focus on NVIDIA Jetson Orin
• Experienced in applications development in Window, OS for mobile (iOS, Android) and OS for embedded system will be advantageous.
• Problem-Solving Skills: Proven ability to debug and resolve complex circuit design issues effectively.
• Self-motivated and highly organised, with the ability to work independently and manage tasks effectively.
• Experience working in cross-functional teams.
• Excellent written and spoken English communication skills; fluency in Chinese is a plus for effective interaction with Chinese-speaking stakeholders.
• Candidates must meet legal requirements to work in Singapore without sponsorship.
