Art Manager/ Director (Creative/ Marketing Agency)
Job description
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the creative direction and vision for book covers and marketing materials.
- Collaborate with authors, designers, and marketing teams to develop compelling visual concepts.
- Create and oversee the production of book covers, promotional materials, and artwork.
- Ensure consistency and quality in all visual assets across different platforms.
- Stay updated with industry trends and competition to provide innovative design solutions.
- Manage and coordinate multiple projects, ensuring deadlines and design requirements are met.
- Provide guidance and feedback to designers and artists.
- Manage relationships with external vendors and suppliers.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Fine Arts, or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience as an Art Director in the publishing or advertising industry.
- Strong portfolio showcasing expertise in book cover design and marketing materials.
- Proficient in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite.
- Excellent visual and conceptual skills.
- Strong leadership and project management abilities.
- Ability to work well in a team and collaborate with various stakeholders.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
