Job description

This is an Internal/In-house, full-time/permanent position with Adecco.

Working Location: Central Area, Orchard

As an Area Specialist, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing multiple facets of our operations within Singapore. This role requires a dynamic specialist who excels in recruitment, client management, associate management, and operations management. You will play a pivotal role in driving the success of our projects by ensuring that our teams are effectively staffed, client relationships are nurtured, associates are well-supported, and operations are running smoothly. Your leadership will directly impact our ability to deliver exceptional service and achieve our strategic goals.

Job Responsibilities

Recruitment

  1. Pro-active and creative candidate sourcing
  2. Effective screening and assessment of candidates to contribute to full placement rate
  3. Coordinate interview logistics where appropriate
  4. Offer management

Client Management

  1. Periodic operational reviews with key stakeholders
  2. Relationship building with key stakeholders

Associate Management

  1. Conducts induction / briefing / On-site Coaching
  2. Tracking & Issuance of work tools e.g. uniforms & handsets
  3. Performance review and disciplinary matters
  4. Execute associate retention and welfare activities
  5. Respond and manage associate queries pertaining to employment

Operations Management

  1. Single contact point for promoters and retailers
  2. Better flow of communication and information update on specific channels (i.e. Promotions, new contact point-in-store, other ad-hoc information)
  3. Support manpower planning
  4. Manage deployment (roll call, standby activation)
  5. On-site field management
  6. Provide guidance and instructions to both Full-Timers and Part-Timers
  7. Ensure smooth running of roadshow / event operations and timely dissemination of work information
  8. Conduct site visits
  9. Perform on-site training as required
  10. First point of escalation and incident reporting for events
  11. Maintain effective communication with Client and channel partners / retailers
  12. Facilitate instant and accurate exchange and transfer of information with clients and associates
  13. Ensure compliance with SOPs
  14. Drives continuous improvement process
  15. Manage day-to-day Promoter matters and enquiries
  16. Reporting
  17. Gather and share market intelligence to support development of new services
  18. Drives field data collection
  19. Ensure compliance with company policies and legislative requirements

Requirements

  1. Min Degree/Diploma in any field of studies
  2. Good customer service and communication skills
  3. Experience in managing manpower operations an added advantage
