Our client, a Japanese Marine Equipment Company, is seeking an Area Sales Executive (Marine Equipment) to drive sales of marine-related products, including propellers and thrusters.

You will be reporting to the General Manager.
Target Clients: Shipbuilding Company (main target), Ship owner, Operation company, Ship Management Company.

【 Responsibilities 】

1. Maintain regular communication with distributors in Southeast Asia (excluding Vietnam and the Philippines), the Middle East, Oceania, and Bangladesh. (During the first year, you will manage 2–3 countries alongside a manager.)
2. Develop and implement sales and marketing strategies, including pricing, exhibitions, and promotions.
3. Prepare and submit quotations based on price lists or factory pricing, and negotiate pricing with distributors when necessary.
4. Prepare shipping documents, monitor shipping arrangements, and communicate with factories.
5. Manage and support the Singapore sales team, ensuring smooth order processing with distributors and factories.
6. Drive sales of marine-related products, focusing on both existing vessel after-service and new business development.
7. Travel overseas primarily to Southeast Asia (excluding Vietnam and the Philippines) and the Middle East.

【 Requirement & Preferences 】
(Must)

• At least 3 years of sales experience in the manufacturing industry.
• Fluent in English to effectively communicate with counterparts.
• Willingness to travel regionally for business trips once a month for a week, primarily to Southeast Asia (excluding Vietnam and the Philippines) and the Middle East.

• Experience in the Marine industry (preferred in the following order: 1st - Propellers/Screws, 2nd - Marine Engines, 3rd - Any other marine-related field).
• Possession of a Class 3 Driving License is an added advantage.
