Identifying and solving problems in building plans, prototypes, and structures.
Ensuring building systems are functional, reliable, and safe.
Participating in site visits.
Testing and evaluating building systems to find problems and improvements.
Reading, interpreting, and explaining complex technical documents.
Preparing and reviewing Method Statements to ensure compliance with project specifications and safety standards.
Managing and coordinating subcontractors to ensure quality, safety, and timely project execution.
Ensuring compliance with LTA and other regulatory requirements for MRT projects.
Coordinating with structural and M&E engineers to integrate architectural designs with MRT infrastructure and station functionality.
Developing architectural solutions for construction challenges encountered on-site, including waterproofing, fire safety, and accessibility requirements.
Requirements
A bachelor's degree in architectural engineering or related field.
Familiar with Singapore local authority and agencies requirements.
Experience in LTA projects would be preferred.
Strong knowledge of construction materials, methods, and regulations.
The ability to diagram designs both manually and with computer-aided drafting.
Experience in managing large-scale construction projects.
Good team working and communication skills.
Proficiency in BIM (Building Information Modelling) is preferred.
Experience in managing subcontractors for large-scale construction projects is preferred.
Good time management skills.
Strong analytical, critical, and problem-solving skills.
