Application Support Engineer

Adecco is partnering with a System Integrator, looking for an application support engineer with at least 1 year of relevant experience.

The Job:

• Participate in the full software development life cycle, including application development, implementation, and ongoing maintenance.
• Handle the installation, configuration, and customization of enterprise products, software services, and cloud platforms.
• Support integration testing by diagnosing and resolving software defects.
• Contribute to the creation of documentation such as end-user guides and troubleshooting materials, while providing preventive and corrective support for existing projects.

Requirements:

• Proficient in one or more back-end programming languages and frameworks such as .NET/.NET Core, Java Spring Boot, Python, C#, and Java, with expertise in front-end frameworks like React or Angular.
• Strong knowledge of relational databases (e.g., MS SQL, Oracle, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB), with the ability to work on both structured and unstructured data.

Nice to have:

• Experienced in Agile methodologies (e.g., Scrum), containerization tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes), and cloud technologies (e.g., AWS, Azure), with a focus on DevOps CI/CD and testing tools.
• Familiar with Geographic Information Systems (e.g., ArcGIS), message queues (e.g., RabbitMQ), and secure software development practices.
