RESPONSIBILITIES

As an Application Specialist, you will play a key role in bridging science and business, providing expert support to customers and internal teams. Your responsibilities include:

• Collaborate with the sales team in customer engagement.
• Lead scientific discussions, analyze customer needs, and align them with our product offerings.
• Actively contribute to pre-sales discussions and presentations, understanding customer needs and recommending the right solutions.
• Conduct product demonstrations and technical discussions to showcase equipment capabilities.
• Troubleshoot issues related to instruments, software, reagents, and experimental design.
• Propose comprehensive solutions, by connecting and integrating available or customized technologies tailored to customer requirements.
• Provide application and operational training post-installation and commissioning of equipment
• Troubleshooting guidance to enhance user experience.
• Organize and lead user meetings, workshops, and seminars to update customers on product advancements.

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD in Chemistry, Chemical Science, Chemical Engineering, Material Science, Physics, or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of scientific instrumentation and workflows in chemical analysis and material characterization.
• Hands-on experience with physical science applications and experimental technologies; familiarity with emerging research trends is a plus.
• 2-3 years of relevant laboratory or applications experience in a scientific or technical setting.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot instrument, software, and experimental issues effectively.
• Excellent interpersonal skills to engage with customers and deliver impactful training.
• Self-motivated and adaptable, capable of working independently in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
