Main Responsibilities
1. IT Application Maintenance and Enhancement
Involve in all stages of software development life cycle (including maintenance and enhancement)
Support and update SIT, UAT and User operational manual
Develop, test, integrate and deploy application modules
Handle proper documentation in all application related changes
Responsible to handle all application procedures in all system
2. User Focus and Support Operations
Provide support to users to configure access to applications and troubleshoot application issues
Support and maintain existing applications (Web, Windows Clients)
Support annual Business Continuity Exercise
3. IT Application Projects
Lead and coordinate all IT application projects to drive to completion
Liaise with application vendor and internal support team for all application related projects
Conduct proper planning with vendor to lead and support project
1. Qualifications
A recognized Diploma or Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or relevant/ related qualification
2. Experience
At least 2-3 years of relevant working experience preferably in insurance industry
3. Skills & Competencies
Practical experience in:
Objected-Oriented and Service-Oriented design and development
Net (C#) with WPF UI
SQL (MSSQL/MySQL/MongoDB)
For Querying, Manipulating Data and working with tables
For SQL Server Administration tasks such as granting permissions, creating and restoring backups
ReactJS
React Native / Flutter
PHP
REST API
CMS (Content Management System)
CRM (Customer Relationship Management System)
Familiar with:
IIS Administration and Configuration
Troubleshooting HTTP Error Codes
Git and TFS Source Controls
Good to have knowledge in:
HTTPS/SSL Cert Management
Using Ticketing/Service desk systems
Event Sourcing
Dependency Injection and Inversion of Control
4. Personal Attributes
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Familiar with application migration process and able to do project planning for new and existing project development
Fast learner, able to work independently and as a team player
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Comfortable in sharing knowledge through verbal and written instructions
Meeting SLAs defined for support tickets
Meeting SLAs defined for changes and enhancements
Delivery of projects within planned timeline and cost
