JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Based on customer requirement to recommend suitable Mazak machine model and option
• Perform time studies for customer workpieces, making machining process and fixture concept proposal, tooling list etc
• Create machining program and test cut customer workpiece, fulfil as per the requirements
• Conduct programming and operation training for customers
• On-site support new machine commissioning, workpiece test cut, runoff etc
• Provide technical support over the phone or on-site for customers
• Setup machine for showroom demonstration or open house / event

REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum Polytechnic graduated with 3 years working experience in relevant field on CNC machining preferably in Turning and Machining Centers
• Proficient in using Solidworks and experienced on Hypermill or MasterCAM or NX
• Must have sound engineering background & application knowledge in metal cutting principles and techniques in a machine shop or manufacturing environment
• Coupled with this experience, the candidate will require excellent communication & presentation skills, both written and oral and have a high degree of self-motivation.
• Good interpersonal skills, problem-solving and project handling skills
• There will be requirement to travel to support regional offices for enquiry and project support including execution of turnkey projects
