App Store Policy Analyst

The App Review team is looking for an App Store Policy Analyst to join the team. This position is a very rewarding one that allows you to interact with teams across Apple as well as throughout all of App Review. Policy team members are responsible for handling escalations from reviewers, working cross-functionally with teams within App Review, and partnering with other teams across Apple such as Product Marketing and App Store Business Management. This role is also deeply involved in new product launches and is a key contributor to rolling out policy that clarifies our guidelines and review practices for developers. A successful candidate will exhibit reliability, excellent communication skills, effective decision making abilities, and a strong grasp of the App Store Review Guidelines.

Description

- In this role, your main responsibilities are to analyze trends and provide policy recommendations to leadership, as well as providing guidance on application of existing policy to App Review specialists.

1. Providing feedback and content to training and mentorship teams to ensure content is accurate and up to date.
2. Working cross-functionally with partners within WWDR on feedback to third-party app developers.
3. Meet with partners to provide regular updates on App Review policy and communications to developers.
4. Help build and maintain operation procedures.

Minimum Qualifications

• Experience in identifying current or impending problems, evaluating and recommending innovative solutions.
• Consistent track record of ability to work independently and adjust priorities rapidly.
• Proficient in Excel, Keynote, Pages, Numbers.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Collaborative and flexible work style, with an ability to quickly establish trust and credibility.

Preferred Qualifications

• Strong grasp of the App Store Review Guidelines and knowledge of the App Store ecosystem.
• Ability to quickly grasp, understand, and explain technical models.
• Good judgement and integrity with the ability to make timely and sound decisions.
• Fluency in a second language and cultural knowledge is a plus.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience is preferred.
