As the APAC Field Marketing Director – you will be focused on the entire APAC region and be part of the Global Field Marketing team. You will have a chance to develop, plan and execute marketing activities that drive sales in very close partnership and collaboration with the APAC General Manager. You will lead of team made up of three distinct roles: Field Marketers, Partner Marketers and Marketing Development Reps (lead qualifiers) in the regions of Australia, SEA, India, South Korea and Japan. You will have dotted line responsibility for the Greater China marketing team. This region is expected to direct report mid way thru year one. This role direct reports to the Global Field Marketing Vice President and dotted line dual reports to the APAC General Manager.
You and your team will leave no route to market unturned. You will have three KPIs specifically contribution to revenue, to pipeline and also two way meaningful engagement with target market. You will have a direct responsibility of creating marketing generated pipeline for end users in the named account territories for account executives of all variety to achieve the geographic and regional sales targets. You will also cover all the indirect routes to market include channel, IHVs, GSI, Distributors, hyperscalers and others where applicable.
Activities will typically include digital and physical lead creation campaigns and local events designed to meet marketing contribution to sales pipeline. Activities will be fully integrated with global digital campaigns and focused mostly on middle and bottom of the marketing funnel. The APAC Field Marketing Directorwill work very closely with the SUSE global PR, strategic events, and demand generation teams to extend centrally produced campaigns and activities into the geo.
