Job Description

Main Purpose of the Job:

This role will be seconded into the Client's internal team and therefore fully client facing. The primary focus of this role is the delivery of program management services to a major client providing governance and assurance across their APAC new build Data Center programme.

Job Description (Key Responsibilities):

  • Ability to programme manage multiple projects across the APAC region.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, working with Client's teams and appointed professional teams in different markets.
  • Ensure implementation and adherence to Client's standard project controls processes and governance across the programme.
  • Robust coordination with Client, Vendors, and global stakeholders to deliver programme objectives.
  • Review standard processes, identify gaps and opportunities for improvement and recommend implementation.
  • Lead programme level reporting based on inputs and review of project level reporting.
  • Coordinate Knowledge sharing and cascade best practice across programme.
  • Provide technical support and training to in-country project teams to ensure understanding of processes and governance and to establish expectations.
  • Coordinate design team inputs to support analysis of optimal building design and configuration.
  • Willingness to travel within the APAC region on short trips from time to time.
  • Any other ad hoc duties as assigned.

Job Requirements & Person Specification (Qualifications, Experience, Skills & Behaviours)

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

  • Familiar with building plans submission procedures and approvals, construction sequencing and handing over process.
  • Relevant working experience in the built environment sector and proven management abilities.
  • Effective communication skills and leadership qualities.
  • Have undertaken a PM role associated with DC or equivalent.

CREDENTIALS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Degree in a construction industry-related field.
  • Minimum 8 years’ experience in the built-environment sector handling new projects with data center/mission critical project experience preferred.
  • Some project management and scheduling experience.
