Analyst, Credit Risk Management Framework (Job ID: 10067769)

The successful candidate is responsible for assisting in formulating/managing initiatives to implement/enhance local credit policies, workflow, and frameworks to ensure they meet regulatory requirements and mitigate any emerging risks in the Branch’s credit portfolio.

Job Responsibilities:

1. Support in formulating and reviewing credit risk management related policies and procedures to ensure alignment with the bank’s business and regulatory requirements.
2. Assist in reviewing internal credit risk management rules and procedures to ensure compliance with Head Office rules and local regulations.
3. Collaborate with other departments to enhance/streamline the credit processes and credit risk management framework.
4. Support in submitting and presenting proposed credit policies/guidelines to Management for approval.
5. Implement and communicate new/revised credit policies to stakeholders, conducting training/briefing sessions where necessary.
6. Assist in internal, external, and regulatory audit/inspections.
7. Maintain good working knowledge of industry trends, products, relevant laws, and regulations.
8. Adhere to all company policies as well as guidelines.

Job Requirements:

1. At least 1 year of working experience in credit risk management related policy frameworks/MAS regulations in a financial industry and/or in audit/assurance.
2. Basic knowledge/understanding of banking products, local MAS regulations relating to credit risk management.
3. Ability to interpret policies and provide sound advice to team members, as well as apply changes to the Bank’s current rules and procedures.
4. Good communication and collaboration skills with the ability to influence others.
5. Degree qualified.
