In Group Operations, we manage the majority of the Bank's operational processes and inspire to delight our business partners through our multiple banking delivery channels.

Responsibilities

1. Investigate and resolve customer remittances queries in accordance with established service level agreement and strict guidelines to avoid breach of customer confidentiality & compliance.
2. Work with business unit, support unit, agent banks/correspondent banks in a professional and timely manner.
3. Timely reporting and escalation of risk events/incidents, suspicious transactions and presidential complaints for appropriate action.
4. Adhere to agreed high service levels for turnaround time and industry/currency cut-off times.
5. Ensure proficiency over established Standard Operating Procedures and compliance against all relevant policies, standards and guidelines.
6. Perform day end reconciliations with accuracy and detailed eyes to ensure all post processing instructions are processed before leaving the office.
7. Working beyond the normal work hours are expected to complete the high day volume and urgent cases as well as on weekends to provide support for live verification tests.
8. Ad-hoc duties assigned by Team Manager.
9. Contribute constructively towards continuous work improvements and project/initiative in relation to risk management, process improvement, cost reduction, etc.

Requirements

1. Prior experience of banking operations and practices favorable.
2. Good knowledge of remittance products and understanding of risk and controls.
3. Good verbal & written communication skills as well as interpersonal skills.
4. Team player with collaborative attitude.
5. Possess good problem solving and analytical skills.
6. Keen eye for details.
7. Ability to work with speed, accuracy in a fast pace environment.
8. Ability to deliver under tight deadlines and work under pressure independently.
9. Strong knowledge in intermediate Microsoft Excel skills.
10. Possess high computer literacy skill to adapt to the various systems used in Cash Operations.
