Job description

Job Responsibilities

  1. Lead compensation and benefits (C&B) programs in accordance with established policies and guidelines.
  2. Ensure C&B standards comply with company policies, regulations, and legislation.
  3. Collaborate with divisional/department heads to develop compensation plans and other C&B initiatives to support the achievement of organizational goals.
  4. Lead and administer all compensation and benefits processes including appraisals to support salary increases, promotions, and bonus payments.
  5. Review annual salary structures.
  6. Review, propose, and implement staff benefits programs, annual insurance renewals, and medical benefits.
  7. Analyze C&B market surveys, benchmark best C&B practices, fine-tune existing HR-related systems, and propose new initiatives.
  8. Conduct job analysis and evaluation.
  9. Implement annual manpower planning strategies, formulation, and management of policies to attract and retain human capital.
  10. Responsible for managing related HR systems pertaining to rewards, benefits, payroll, and manpower planning from end to end, including managing the rollout of system projects and enhancements, system operations, as well as partnering with both internal stakeholders and outsourced vendors to achieve efficient operations and optimal end-user experience.
  11. Propose and submit the annual manpower budget for the organization to Finance and ensure that the proposed manpower budget is in line with the organization's financial goals.
  12. Monitor and review the manpower budget on a monthly basis based on filled headcount vis-à-vis budgeted headcount. Present the data for management's decision-making.
  13. Submission of MOM or any government-required surveys related to manpower matters.
  14. Grant claims submission to relevant Government authorities including the preparation and submission of applications for grant approval and grant claims to relevant government authorities.
  15. Implementation of staff welfare programs and staff awards such as Long Service Awards. Propose and implement staff welfare programs such as complimentary health screening and festive celebrations.
  16. Perform any other ad-hoc duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

  1. Bachelor's Degree/Post Graduate Diploma/Professional Degree
  2. At least 6 Years of working experience in the related field
  3. Passionate about contributing to the Social Services sector of Singapore. Prior experience in a charity/not-for-profit organization is an added advantage but not mandatory.
  4. Knowledge in data analytics tools such as Power BI, Qlik would be an advantage.
  5. Strong people leadership skills with at least 2 years of experience managing a team.
  6. Committed to the highest standards of ethical conduct.
  7. Excellent communication skills (written and spoken).
  8. High learning agility, adaptable, and resilient in the face of changes.
  9. Strong project management skills with a high drive for continuous improvement and service excellence.
  10. Collaborative mindset with the ability to work very well with colleagues across teams.
  11. Adept in engaging and building rapport with staff across levels.
