Airfreight Operations Executive

We are seeking a highly self-motivated and experienced Air Freight Executive to join our team in the freight forwarding industry.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate air freight import/export shipments from export freight booking, import shipment customs clearance and end delivery
• Know how to request for rates with airlines/GSA
• Communicate with direct clients/overseas partners and cater to their requirements and provide freight quotes and handle shipments
• Prepare and process AWB documentation
• Monitor and track shipment status, provide updates and resolve issues
• Maintain accurate records of air freight activities, including shipment details, costs, and performance metrics. Collaborate with internal teams for seamless coordination of operations.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience
• Strong knowledge of air freight regulations, customs procedures, and documentation requirements
• Knowledge of handling AOG and DG will be a plus advantage, incentives add on
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines
• Proficiency in using freight forwarding software and systems.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills, team player
