Aircraft Leasing Senior Financial Analyst

My client is a high profile aircraft leasing firm which has a requirement for a Senior Financial Analyst.

Description:

We are recruiting for a detail-oriented Senior Financial Analyst to join a dynamic team, specializing in structured finance related to a global portfolio of commercial aircraft.

Responsibilities:

1. Manage financial operations and reporting for a large portfolio of commercial aircraft.
2. Prepare detailed monthly and quarterly reports for stakeholders, covering debt schedules, fee calculations, currency swaps, interest calculations, and statistical analysis.
3. Perform purchase price calculations, loan payoffs, and prepare borrowing and release requests.
4. Conduct present value calculations for remarketing efforts, reconcile cash flow, and pull data from financial platforms.
5. Ensure compliance with loan agreements and related financial documentation.
6. Collaborate with internal teams to support the accurate management of structured finance products.
7. Maintain and enhance financial models and datasets for effective decision-making.

Requirements:

1. Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related analytical field.
2. Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in financial analysis, accounting, investment banking, aircraft leasing or a similar discipline.
3. Strong proficiency in Excel, with experience in building and maintaining complex models.
4. Experience with loan compliance, loan reporting, and private equity is a plus.
5. Familiarity with aviation or asset-backed finance is advantageous but not required.
6. Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and the ability to navigate and interpret complex contracts and financial documents.
7. Experience with financial metrics, swaps, derivatives, and loan structures is a plus.
