Air Operation Manager

Roles & Responsibilities

1. Lead and manage airfreight operation team.
2. Ensure smooth operations and good customer service.
3. Execution of MAWBs and HAWBs (Direct and consolidation shipment).
4. Manage airline FWB/FHL submission.
5. Follow up and process shipments with shipment status and revert to agents/clients.
6. Perform all necessary documentation for shipments and plan for collection and delivery with contractors to meet flight closing time.
7. Ensure all COD customer payments are collected prior to releasing airwaybill/delivery to customer.
8. Attend to all messages pertaining to operational matters.
9. Oversee airfreight import and export billing to clients and agents.
10. Close all airfreight import and export job files promptly to meet month-end closing.
11. Maintain good relations with all customers and agents to ensure high-quality customer service.
12. Ensure profitability for secured businesses with regular reviews with management.
13. Support customer services and pricing team on air operational issues.
14. Perform any other official duties assigned by management.

Qualifications:

1. Minimum 2 years’ experience overseeing a team in airfreight import and export operations.
2. Extensive background in the freight forwarding industry (agent environment).
3. Strong experience in full import and export documentation functions.
4. Strong leadership skills.
5. Good communication and interpersonal skills.
6. Good understanding with co-workers and contractors.
7. Self-motivated and customer-oriented.
8. High endurance and able to work under pressure.
9. Well versed with Tradent preferred.
10. Able to start work immediately preferred.

5.5 days work (alternate weekend upon confirmation).

Working hours: 1pm to 10pm (Weekday) and 11am to 3pm (Weekend).
