AI Technology Lead (Technology Vice President ( Data / AI / Risk & Control)

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced AI Technology Lead to drive the development and implementation of cutting-edge AI solutions. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background in AI/ML, excellent leadership skills, and a proven track record of delivering successful AI projects. You will lead a team of AI engineers and researchers, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and contribute to the strategic direction of our AI initiatives.

Responsibilities:

1. Technical Leadership:
   • Lead the technical design, development, and deployment of AI/ML models and systems.
   • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to AI engineers and researchers.
   • Evaluate and recommend AI technologies, tools, and platforms.
   • Ensure the scalability, reliability, and security of AI solutions.
   • Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in AI/ML and related fields.
2. Project Management:
   • Plan and manage AI projects, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to quality standards.
   • Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
   • Monitor project progress and identify potential risks and issues.
   • Communicate project status and updates to stakeholders.
3. Collaboration and Communication:
   • Collaborate with product managers, data scientists, and other stakeholders to define AI requirements and solutions.
   • Communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
   • Foster a collaborative and innovative team environment.
   • Work with business stakeholders to determine appropriate AI solutions for their needs.
4. Strategic Planning:
   • Contribute to the development of the company's AI strategy.
   • Identify opportunities for leveraging AI to improve business processes and create new products/services.
   • Evaluate the business value of AI initiatives.
   • Help define the ethical use of AI within the company.
5. Code and Architecture:
   • Design scalable and maintainable AI architectures.
   • Participate in code reviews and ensure code quality.
   • Oversee the development of robust and efficient data pipelines.

Qualifications:

1. Minimum 7 years of experience in developing and deploying IT / AI/ML solutions.
2. Practical experience in large model system, AIGC image and video generation, Agent, visual algorithm technology system (face recognition, OCR), speech recognition algorithm, and recommendation algorithm.
3. Experience with LLM language large model, AI virtual try-on, matching purchase, ID card OCR, content compliance review algorithm, face recognition, and product image search algorithm systems.
4. Experience in Hadoop, Flink, Hive, HBASE, metadata governance, data warehouse and data mining.
5. Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or C++.
6. Experience with cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
7. Excellent understanding of data engineering principles and practices.
8. Proven ability to lead and mentor technical teams.
9. Experience with E-commerce Transaction System/Payment System is required.
10. Willingness to support deployment activities during weekends and public holidays.
11. Business level Mandarin speaking is required as the candidate will be required to liaise with Mandarin stakeholders, vendors and counterparts on a daily basis in China & Hong Kong region.
