The aftermarket strategic sales account manager is responsible for driving sustainable, profitable growth in aerospace aftermarket sales at existing and new customers across the Asia Pacific region.

This position is part of a global aerospace sales organization and will be remotely located in Asia Pacific, preferably in Singapore. We provide filtration, separation and purification solutions to meet the needs of a broad spectrum of aerospace and defense customers worldwide. Our industry-leading contamination and particulate control technologies work in countless applications, protecting critical operating systems, improving component reliability, and safeguarding health through air and drinking water purification.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

1. Lead sustainable growth in aerospace & defense aftermarket sales at existing & new customers via channel partners.
2. Provide technical and commercial support to airline & military customers, colleagues & internal departments such as Engineering, Legal, Export Control and Manufacturing.
3. Identify customer pain points, needs and market trends in the APAC region and drive action cross-functionally to support new technology development opportunities and marketing campaigns.

The essential requirements of the job include:

1. Degree in Engineering or scientific discipline. In lieu of the degree, 10+ years of experience working within the Aerospace industry.
2. 5+ years of Sales/Marketing/Applications engineering experience within a related industry.
3. Highly proficient in reading, writing and speaking English and experience of communicating in English within large multinational organizations.
4. Ability to travel internationally, with a minimum of monthly travel within the APAC region (excluding China) and at least twice a year intercontinentally (typically US/UK).

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

1. Knowledge of aerospace regulatory requirements and airline maintenance procedures.
2. Knowledge of filtration principles and products used in industrial applications.
3. Experience of working within the commercial airline industry.
