Loctite is a Market Leader in adhesive, sealants and surface treatments for electronics, automotive and industrial applications.

Job Summary:
We are looking for a detail-oriented entry-level Administrative Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will provide key administrative support, including data entry, inventory management, and communication with suppliers and our Malaysian finance team. As a company, we are committed to training the right candidate who is eager to learn and grow in the role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Data Entry: Accurately key data into our bookkeeping software to maintain up-to-date records.
  • Stock Management: Receive stock deliveries from suppliers, ensuring that quantities and quality are correct.
  • Document Processing: Issue Quotations, Purchase Orders, Delivery Orders, and Invoices using our bookkeeping software.
  • Purchasing: Make purchases of materials as requested.
  • Reporting: Generate monthly reports for management to review business activities.
  • Communication: Coordinate with the Malaysian Finance team to ensure smooth financial operations.
  • Collections: Responsible for following up on overdue payments, working to resolve payment delays in a timely manner.

Qualifications:

  • 6 months of experience as an Administrative Assistant or in a similar role is preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy, especially when entering data into systems.
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) and constructing emails.
  • Eagerness to learn new software tools and processes.
  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Ability to work independently and take initiative when needed.

Preferred (but not required):

  • Basic understanding of bookkeeping or accounting principles.
  • Experience using SQL or similar bookkeeping software is a plus, but not mandatory.
