This is an hourly rated position.
Processing admissions and general coordination between internal departments within NUS and external parties.
Liaising with contracted lecturers or external internship supervisors for necessary documents and information.
Meeting coordination with internal and external parties.
Planning, coordination, and execution of approximately 10-12 sessions per year, including but not limited to:
Venue booking and setup.
Vendor management (catering, equipment rental, etc.).
Participant registration and attendance tracking.
On-site management during events.
Post-event breakdown and debrief.
For the ELSA initiative - Develop detailed operational plans for running training sessions lasting 3-6 days, for approximately 4-6 runs each year.
Coordinate venue bookings, equipment setup, catering, and transportation for participants and facilitators.
Serve as the point of contact for participants, responding to inquiries and providing necessary information.
Liaise with external parties (speakers, trainers, vendors) and internal departments within NUS to ensure smooth execution of events.
Development of marketing materials for each event, including:
Digital content (emails, social media posts, website updates).
Printed materials (brochures, banners, event programs).
Branding assets to ensure consistency across all platforms.
Minimum educational qualification of a polytechnic diploma or bachelor's degree.
Proven experience in event planning and management.
Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Proficiency in marketing and design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, Microsoft Office).
Ability to work flexibly and efficiently under tight deadlines.
