Excellent opportunity to join our Camera Process Development team. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on the most advanced camera assembly process and equipment for the new camera module technologies with cutting-edge design under research and development. Will you help us design the next generation of revolutionary Apple products?

Description

  1. Define camera active alignment equipment specifications and collaborate with vendors to develop equipment for new processes.
  2. Define AA process flow, qualification procedures, and metrologies.
  3. Collaborate with optics engineers to run simulations and define the active alignment method to achieve the best optical performance.
  4. Work on process equipment to conduct proof of concept evaluations and DOEs.
  5. Perform process characterization - Establish design guidelines for manufacturability.
  6. Generate engineering reports based on studies and evaluations - Reporting of engineering studies to cross-functional teams.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Degree in Science in Engineering or equivalent.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in process R&D.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Good understanding of optics alignment processes in 6 degrees of freedom; multi-optical components alignment experience is a plus.
  • Knowledge and hands-on experience in active alignment processes, optics bonding equipment, image, and optical tests is a plus.
  • Good knowledge of design of experiments, engineering statistics, root cause analysis, and problem-solving.
  • Knowledge of adhesives, epoxies, or other bonding materials and their interaction with the process is a plus.
  • Familiarity with different metrology tools and quantitative measurement methodologies.
  • Clear and effective written and communication skills.
