Oversee the end-to-end mobility value chain business, ensuring seamless integration and optimization of but not limited to Digital Platforms, After Sales services, Used Car Distribution and Sales, Auction processes, and Finance operations.
Identify and evaluate new investment opportunities including conducting of comprehensive feasibility studies to assess potential risks and returns.
Collaborate with various departments to secure necessary approvals for new initiatives and investments, fostering a culture of teamwork and alignment.
Develop and implement strategic goals and objectives for the mobility value chain, ensuring alignment with the overall business strategy and market trends.
Oversee regional sales activities including managing distributors in respective countries to achieve desired goals and targets
Manage overall department and countries’ performance on Sales, P&L, Revenue Accountability with monthly analysis with agreed budget
Provide expertise in product/brand management which focus on driving branding/marketing strategies that result in successful products/brands launches
Analyse potential markets, competitors’ positioning, and customer buying patterns to project demand/profitability of potential products, key product features/requirements, and favourable timing for product launches etc.
Perform strong strategy thinking on pricing activities to strategize product introductions in respective markets
Establish policies and governance in the business to be in line with company’s rules and regulations
Collaborate with Department Heads to identify areas of improvement and collaborations needs
Manage and be in charge of mid-term and long-term sales & profit targets to be aligned with the country growth and expansions
Lead important projects within the organization for further growth & expansions
Establish key stakeholder relationship management and communications
Perform continuous improvement for the duties described above
Perform any other ad-hoc duties be assigned by management or Japan HQ
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree from reputable local or international universities from relevant field;
Minimum 10 years working experience in Automotive sales and marketing;
Minimum of 5 years of experience in the Mobility Value Chain business, with a proven track record of success in managing diverse operations.
Strong understanding of digital business models and technologies, with the ability to leverage digital solutions to enhance operational efficiency.
At least 2 years of experience in after-sales management, demonstrating a deep understanding of customer service and support processes.
Familiarity with auction processes and finance operations within the mobility sector, with the ability to navigate complex financial transactions.
Minimum 5 years distributor and/or dealer management experience in emerging countries;
Minimum 5 years of company management, investment and strategic planning;
Minimum 3 years of Toyota Production System (TPS) and Just in Time (JIT) for managing field operation is essential;
Minimum 5 years of leadership with strong people management skills
Knowledge in Dealer Management System for managing sales and finance of subsidiary companies is required;
Strong in strategic planning, logical thinking, result oriented, goal driven, self-motivated and focused on details.
Able to handle multiple projects, prioritize and arrange tasks and schedules to delivery outcomes on time, work under high pressure.
Excellent computer skills in MS Office software, especially MS Excel and MS PowerPoint.
Strong interpersonal skills, negotiation, effective communication, open minded and positive attitude to coordinate among external partners and internal group companies.
Prior working experience in a Japanese firm would be advantageous.
Fluent English to communicate with local employees, customers and management.
Proficiency in the Japanese language to communicate and manage relevant stakeholders effectively with Japan HQ would be advantageous.
