You will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the accounting team and ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting. You will work closely with senior management to provide strategic financial guidance and support business growth.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Reporting: Manage the preparation and analysis of financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
Accounting Operations: Oversee the full set of accounts, including general ledger, accounts receivable, accounts payable, intercompany transactions, and cash flow management.
Team Management: Lead and mentor a team of accounting professionals, providing guidance, training, and support.
Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant accounting regulations, tax laws, and internal controls.
Financial Analysis: Provide financial analysis and reporting to support decision-making and strategic planning.
Budgeting and Forecasting: Develop and manage annual budgets and forecasts.
Audit Coordination: Coordinate with external auditors and tax authorities.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
CPA or CA certification preferred
Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Proven leadership and team management abilities
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and accounting software (e.g., Oracle NetSuite)
Additional Skills (Desired)
Experience with J-SOX compliance
Knowledge of FRS116 and lease accounting standards
