Accounts / Finance Executive

Role

Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will work independently and be responsible for supporting the finance team in one of the company’s clients. As part of your role, you will mainly interact with Operations, Finance, Purchasing and Customers.

This role which involves frequent interaction with both internal and external stakeholders will provide an opportunity to handle one of the best accounts of the company.

Job Responsibilities:

• Act as a finance support in the account | unit and will be responsible in managing all finance functions such as but not limited to billing & labour reconciliations and validation, reviewing goods receipts reports, verifying petty cash, settle vendors’ issues on invoices and chasing of credit notes, stock take and asset reports, invoice posting in SAP
• Provide financial analysis and produce relevant reports and schedules as required
• Perform internal audit of transactions and processes to ensure correct application of contractual requirements and compliance with key financial controls
• Ensure timely reporting of transactions for month-end close by working closely with the multiple departments in the account | unit
• Work closely with the Finance Team in HQ to agree on proper treatment of business transactions as to recording, settle and resolve issues, if any
• Assist on projects within the account | unit and contract reviews
• Continuously seek improvement and streamline processes
• Any other tasks as assigned

Job Requirements:

• A Diploma in Finance, Accounting or related field with minimum 2 years of relevant experience, with Audit background and practical experience is an advantage
• Strong analytical skill, detail oriented and independent
• Team player, dynamic, driven and always takes initiative
• Able to work under pressure, handle high volume of documents and meet tight financial deadlines
• Highly proficient in Google Suite particularly Google spreadsheets
• Effective English communication skills both written and oral
• Knowledgeable in ERP systems such as SAP is an advantage
• Able to start work immediately or within short notice period
