Key Responsibilities:
Financial Operations & Customer Interaction:
Manage accounts payable and receivable efficiently.
Process operational transactions, including issuing tax invoices and delivery orders to customers.
Proactively follow up on customer invoices to ensure timely payment.
Collaborate with sales and operations teams to process necessary documents and provide project reporting.
Compliance & Statutory Reporting:
Prepare and submit accurate GST, corporate tax, and other statutory financial returns to government authorities.
Ensure strict compliance with Singaporean tax laws and regulations, with an understanding of Malaysian and Thai tax regulations to support our overseas subsidiaries.
Financial Analysis & Reporting:
Conduct thorough bank reconciliations and cash flow analysis.
Deliver accurate and timely monthly financial and management reports, and annual reporting packages, to management.
Provide insightful analysis of Profit & Loss statements to support strategic decision-making.
Assist in budget preparation and financial planning activities.
Financial Records & Auditing:
Maintain meticulous financial and asset records.
Serve as a key point of contact for auditors, addressing all financial-related inquiries.
Stay informed on evolving local regulations and accounting standards.
Qualifications
We're looking for someone with a Bachelor’s degree/ Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent professional qualifications.
You'll need 1-2 years of experience as an Accounts Executive, ideally with full set of accounts knowledge.
Proficiency in accounting software like MYOB or QuickBooks is essential, along with strong MS Excel skills.
A solid grasp of Singapore's accounting standards (SFRS) and tax laws is a must.
If you're also familiar with Malaysian (MFRS) and Thai (TFRS) standards and laws, that's a big plus!
