Responsibilities
• Responsible for full spectrum of the accounting & finance functions of a group ofcompanies (Singapore and oversea entities)
• Assist in Group consolidation
• Prepare GST quarterly returns, yearly government statistical reports and income tax computation
• Performing stock take and liaise closely with warehouse staff
• Processing of AP / AR invoices, including verification, coding, reconciliation;
• Processing of Letter of credit and Trust Receipts for onwards submission to Bank
• Monitor, follow up and control accounts receivable to maintain a healthy receivable aging;
• Handling of petty cash;
• Issuing cheques and prepare bank reconciliation statements;
• Reconciliation of intercompany balances;
• Liaise with auditors, tax agents, bankers and relevant regulatory bodies;
• Perform other functions & duties as delegated to you from time to time.
Requirements
• At least a GCE A level / Diploma in Finance/Accounting / Degree in Accountancy or ACCA/CPA or relevant qualifications
• Min 1-3 years of accounting experience
• Good communication skills in English and CHI (written and verbal) – to liaise with CHI speaking associates
• Preferably knowledge of Microsoft Office & Navision (Training will be provided)
• Self-driven, able to work under pressure and tight deadlines
• Must be willing to work in Tuas area
