About the Role:

As the Accounts & Costing Executive, you will be responsible for overseeing and executing critical financial and costing processes. These include month-end and year-end closures, detailed cost accounting, and variance analysis to ensure the accuracy and integrity of the company’s financial data. Your insights and analysis will contribute directly to budgeting, forecasting, and strategic decision-making. You will collaborate with department managers and cross-functional teams to drive cost-control initiatives and support digitalization projects, playing an essential role in optimizing profitability and supporting sustainable business growth.

• Position: Accounts & Costing Executive
• Employment Type: Full-Time
• Location: Jurong Island, Singapore (Company transport provided)
• Working Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:00 a.m.–4:45 p.m.
• Salary Range: SGD 3,000 - SGD 4,500 per month
• Bonus Rewards: Annual Wage Supplement (AWS); performance-based variable bonuses

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Oversee month-end and year-end closing processes, including preparing accounting entries and conducting account reconciliations.
• Prepare and reconcile complex accounts, including bank statements, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
• Generate financial statements (balance sheets, income statements, cash flow statements) and cost reports.
• Analyze financial and costing data to identify trends and provide actionable insights for decision-making.
• Maintain cost accounting records and monitor variances in production expenses and inventory.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and preparing depreciation schedules.
• Support quarterly GST return filings and assist with audit-related tasks.
• Collaborate with IT and other teams to implement digital tools to streamline accounting and costing processes.

What They’re Looking For:

• Educational Background: Degree in Accounting or an equivalent professional qualification.
• Experience: At least 5 years of relevant experience in accounting and costing roles.

Key Skills & Expertise:

• Strong understanding of accounting principles and taxation.
• Proficient in MS Excel; knowledge of SAP is an advantage.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to manage stakeholders effectively.
• Highly detail-oriented, with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Leadership qualities and a strong team-oriented mindset.
