Accounts Assistant (Construction/AR/AP) - Up To $3,600

• Position: Accounts Assistant (Construction/AR/AP) - Up To $3,600
• Location: Aljunied (Near MRT)
  Working hours: Monday to Friday | 8.30am to 5.30pm
• Salary (commensurate with experience): Up to $3,600 (Based on Experience & Qualifications) + Variable Bonus + Annual Leaves + Medical Benefits + Travel Reimbursable

Main Responsibilities:

• Support daily financial transactions for Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR), and general ledger entries.
• Assist in preparing sales tax invoices and verifying them against purchase orders.
• Assist in month-end reconciliation of bank and supplier statements.
• Assist in preparing supporting documents for audits and ensure compliance with accounting and tax regulations.
• Assist in monitoring outstanding payments and sending Statements of Account (SOA) reminders.
• Verify subcontractor/vendor invoices and ensure proper documentation.
• Check worker wages prepared by HR and upload to Internet banking for management approval.
• Perform general administrative tasks (filing, data entry, mail processing, answering calls).
• Collect timesheets and support project allocation for staff salary and worker wage.
• Perform other ad-hoc tasks as assigned.

Requirements:

• Minimum of Diploma in Accounting with one year of relevant working experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
• Bilingual in English and Mandarin to liaise with associates who can only speak Mandarin.
