We are looking for an Account Assistant to support the finance team with basic accounting tasks, including processing invoices, maintaining financial records, and assisting with general accounting duties.
Key Responsibilities:
Process invoices and payments.
Assist with accounts receivable and accounts payable.
Prepare listing for petty cash.
Maintain accurate financial records and files.
Prepare basic financial reports.
Help with tasks related to accounting.
Assist in GST filing and staff expense claims.
Assist with payroll and other administrative tasks.
Preferred Skills:
Knowledge of construction cost control and budgeting.
Experience handling claims, progress billings, and variation orders.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Understanding of progress payments, retention sums, and contract billing in construction projects.
Familiarity with SST/GST regulations and tax compliance.
Good organizational and time-management skills.
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Experience in construction accounting or familiarity with project-based financial management is an advantage.
