Job description

The Accounts Assistant supports the finance and administrative functions, ensuring smooth operations across the organization. This role handles accounts payable and receivable and office management. You will assist in maintaining financial records and supporting payroll.

Key Responsibilities

Finance Duties:

  • Accounts Receivable (AR): Oversee customer invoicing and ensure accurate recording of payments. Monitor payment statuses and follow up on overdue invoices.
  • Accounts Payable (AP): Process supplier invoices and manage vendor payments. Handle staff reimbursements.
  • Inventory Management: Assist in monthly stock counts and maintain accurate inventory records.

Requirements

  • ITE/ Diploma in Accounting/ LCCI
  • Prefer at least 1 year of experience in a similar role, covering finance responsibilities.
  • Proficiency in accounting systems (e.g., Microsoft Business Central).
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel (e.g., pivot tables, VLOOKUP).
  • Excellent multitasking and organizational skills.
  • Proactive, detail-oriented, and able to meet deadlines independently.
