Job description

We are looking for an Accounts Assistant, who will play a crucial role in supporting the Accounts Department in company's financial operations. The Accounts Assistant will be responsible for assisting with various tasks related to accounts, ensuring accurate and timely processing of invoices, payments, and collections. The individual will have strong attention to detail, excellent organisational skills and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

· Perform AR & AP functions include verifying supplier’s invoices, initiating payments/fast payments, data entry and maintenance & reconciliation of creditors’ ledger.

· Liaising with vendors and suppliers to resolve payment-related issues.

· Assisting with month-end closing and reporting processes.

· Timely preparation of client's accounts and financial reports.

· Providing administrative support to the finance team as and when needed.

What we're looking for

· Minimum 1-2 years of experience in a similar role.

· Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record-keeping.

· Good communication and interpersonal skills to effectively liaise with internal and external stakeholders.

· Proficiency in using accounting software and Microsoft Office applications.

· A team player with the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

· Able to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

· Relevant qualifications in accounting or finance, or a combination of education and experience.
