Accounts Assistant

Objective / Purpose of the Job

The incumbent will manage the general ledger and support the Manager in financial reporting.

Key Activities / Accountabilities

1. Review, verify and process all non-trade invoices
2. Take charge full spectrum of account payable
3. Handling purchase and sales credit note
4. Processing petty cash & staff claim
5. Update Account Receivable record
6. Maintain monthly General Ledger & Balance sheet schedules
7. Maintain machine sales record
8. Update system currency on 1st day of the month
9. Prepare monthly Bank reconciliation
10. Maintain fixed asset schedule
11. Create and maintain BOM
12. Handling inventory adjustment
13. Handling Dimension code creation in NAV system for R&D project
14. Handling company inventory count
15. Prepare and send monthly customer SOA
16. Assist in external audit (by prepare audit schedules & provide supporting documents)
17. Handling inter-company billing and recharge
18. Prepare machine sales record for royalty fee to be charged
19. Any other duties as assigned

Preferred Qualifications, Experience and Skills

Qualification:

Diploma in accounting

Experience:

1. At least 2-5 years relevant experience in Semiconductor industry
2. Financial reporting
3. Familiar with Navision system

Technical Skills:

1. Well-versed in MS Office, especially MS Excel, PowerPoint and Word
2. A self-starter who is able to plan, organise and take initiative to meet job objectives and deadlines independently
3. Can-do attitude, driven and passionate about work

Language Capability:
