Job description

We are currently looking for suitably qualified candidates aspiring to excel and take on leadership position within accountancy and corporate service provider outfit to join our Business Solutions division as Accounting Supervisor/Assistant Manager.

Responsibilities:

  1. Onboarding and setting up of new engagement.
  2. Plan and oversee the preparation and review of monthly management accounts and reporting packages of a portfolio of companies;
  3. Oversee the month end closing process for a portfolio of companies;
  4. Supervise a team of professional staff in day to day outsourced finance function, including AP processing, payroll, bookkeeping & accounting;
  5. Plan, oversee and/or execute the consolidation of financial statements;
  6. Compilation of financial statements in accordance with Singapore Financial Reporting Standards
  7. Lead or assist as appropriate, the financial management services;
  8. Research, analyse and devise appropriate accounting solutions for complex transactions as and when necessary;
  9. Handle consultancy and business advisory projects upon assignment;
  10. Assist in department service expansion, business development; and
  11. Undertaking ad-hoc assignment assigned from time to time.

Requirement:

  1. At least 6 years working experience in accountancy sector such as external audit, accounting outsourcing within corporate service providers. Those with a mixture of experience as accountant in practice and accountant in business are welcome to apply.
  2. Degree in Accountancy, Singapore CA, ACCA, CPA Australia or their equivalent.
  3. Well-verse with SFRS, IFRS and generally acceptable accounting practices.
  4. Good knowledge of internal control within accounting system;
  5. Sincere and committed, good time management and problem-solving skill, resourceful, proactive, able to work independently within fast-paced environment, effective verbal and written communication skill.
  6. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and accounting software.
