Complete assignments with a minimum of Manager Supervision.
Produce a complete accountancy working paper file with draft accounts for a job that involves incomplete record work.
Post sales, purchases, and bank and journal entries on the firm’s approved accounts package and produce required reports for management account purposes.
Prepare quarterly VAT returns and highlight any unusual items ready for review.
Ensure all clients’ needs are met in regard to answering queries promptly, building a rapport with the client and anticipating requirements.
Provide clients with value-adding recommendations for improvements in processes and controls.
Supervise, coach, motivate and develop junior members of staff both on client premises and in the office, and review and appraise work at the end of the assignment.
Participate in sales and marketing activities.
Provision of accounting and payroll services for a portfolio of clients.
Accountable for ad-hoc assignments e.g., preparation of management reports.
Involve financial planning and administrative services in preparing budgets, income tax computation, and quarterly GST returns.
Prepare payroll reports, administration of payroll funds and CPF contribution.
Liaise with tax and auditing parties.
Requirements:
Diploma / Degree in Accounting / ACCA or equivalent qualification recognized by ISCA.
Min 3-4 years accounting experience with an outsourcing environment.
Ability to work independently, communicate effectively and possess strong interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in both written and spoken English.
Well-versed in a second language will be an added advantage.
