Accounting Manager (Financial Services/Insurance)

A leading commercial property insurance company specializing in risk management and loss prevention is looking for a detail-oriented Accounting Manager to join their Finance team. In this role, you will oversee financial and accounting operations across multiple business units and countries, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. You will work closely with internal and external stakeholders, provide financial insights, and support key strategic initiatives.

Job Descriptions

1. Oversee financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting processes
2. Ensure compliance with local accounting regulations and industry standards
3. Review financial statements, reconciliations, and regulatory submissions
4. Collaborate with auditors, regulators, and internal stakeholders
5. Contribute to risk management, governance, and financial controls
6. Support process improvements and financial system enhancements

Job Requirements

1. CPA or CA qualified with a degree in Accounting or Finance
2. 10+ years of experience in finance or external audit, preferably within the insurance or financial services sector
3. Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills
4. Knowledge of regulatory requirements and financial reporting standards
5. Proficiency in financial systems such as PeopleSoft, Microsoft Office, or similar tools
